2011 was the 11th year we welcomed a group of hand picked artisans who joined us to make your holiday shopping a great experience during Christmas in the Country. Christmas in the Country is always held the first Fri-Sun weekend in December. Next year's dates are Nov 30-Dec 2. We know you have lots of choices; thanks for choosing Sweetlife Farm.

Each stop on the tour showcases multiple arts and crafts vendors; Sweetlife Farm provides an intimate setting to select unique handmade gifts for everyone on your list. Each year we take all the furniture out of the living and dining rooms to make room for guest artists. The Sweetlife Farm studio is conveniently across the driveway from our house. Visitors spread out and take time to get into the spirit of the season by strolling between house and studio, pausing along the way to browse art in the garden. Many kind customers tell us Sweetlife Farm is the best, their first, and sometimes only destination of the weekend.

We are so thankful for the
many friends and family members who take time away from their jobs to volunteer valuable time and buckets of good cheer to help us make your visit to Sweetlife Farm a pleasant one. The Wenatchee posse treks over mountain passes and puts up with cramped quarters, odd pieces of furniture lurking out of place in the dark, and irregular meals to help us pull off this weekend event. Mark and John stand in the cold, summoning endless patience to keep traffic flowing and tip you to the best parking spaces.
Kathy and Mary Ellen make the check out process seamless. T
his year niece Kelly joined us from Florida, taking time out of her efforts to begin a professional career as a journalist. We hope next year finds her morphed into a northwest girl, and she has time to come back to help us again!
Nancy's mom Jean works all year behind the scenes labeling and wrapping Sweetlife products. Tons of local friends sign up for shifts to pass out samples and tell you about our great products. Neighborhood teens work for spending money during the growing season to get products harvested and ready for sale. They all work with a smile on their faces and we will forever be grateful for their help and generous spirit!
For more information about the other sites on the tour, lodging, etc, go to the Christmas in the Country website. It takes at least one entire day to check out all the stops on the tour!
