Lisa Salisbury's colorful majolica pottery is as cheerful and beautiful as it is functional.

She feels her job as an artist is to make pots that people want to use on a daily basis: a cup that feels good on your mouth when you use it and a plate or bowl that makes your food look even better.

A seasoned potter who has built three of her own kilns, Lisa also teaches classes in pottery making. She is shown here driving her own horse-drawn buggy.

Lisa's work will grace the gazebo/oven house this year, and she plans to warm her visitors with a toasty fire on the hearth.

Whenever I take a moment to pull your perfume out of my purse and apply a few drops it results in a magical moment or two of calm.
