As summer wanes, we hover over our tomatoes to see if any will actually ripen. No worries, we love fried green tomatoes, and have killer recipes for green tomato relish and green tomato picallilli.
Marionberry Butter is on the menu this season, now that Bob is back in the kitchen after a summer of construction projects. You will love the buttery texture and the not too sweet tartness of this one.
Berry lovers will enjoy trying Nightfall Blackberry Jam. Nightfall blackberries are a recent innovation out of Oregon, to have all the delectable characteristics of their wild cousins, without the thorns.
We've added Alder Smoked Seasalt to our growing salt selection, which is getting such rave reviews at the farmers' market that we are hustling to keep inventory in stock.
Speaking of the farmers' market, those customers are the guinea pigs for our new ideas. This week we will try out Bob's buttery homemade caramels, as we experiment with portion size and packaging. Stay tuned for these and more chocolate-related confections.
If you don't see what you are looking for as you browse our site, please send an email--we may have been too busy to get it on the website, or it may have been a limited edition item that is sold out. We will bill you separately for exact shipping cost to your location, which will show as a separate charge on your credit card.
