Many people in our community take their dogs everywhere, who love the trips to town, for the many stops where they can count on getting a cookie (banks, coffee stands, the dump, the ferry terminal, the flower shop, the hardware store...). The Saturday Farmer's Market is a great place to go if you are thinking of getting a dog, since you can see many breeds strolling the market with their owners.
